Daniel Riecker, CFP®

Director of Financial Planning and Implementation

Daniel Riecker supports the financial planning and implementation work at Clifton Capital Advisors, contributing to the development, execution, and ongoing maintenance of client plans within the firm’s fiduciary, family-office framework.

Dan brings more than 15 years of experience in financial services. He began his industry career at Fidelity Investments before joining Clifton Capital Advisors, where his work focuses on the technical and analytical aspects of financial planning, coordination, and follow-through, helping ensure that complex plans remain accurate, current, and aligned over time.

He is also a Certified Financial Planner™ professional, reflecting his formal training and commitment to disciplined, client-centered planning.

Before entering the financial industry, Dan served six years in the United States Navy, including four years aboard the USS Carl Vinson as a nuclear reactor mechanic. That experience required precision, discipline, and accountability in highly structured environments, qualities that continue to inform his professional approach.

Dan earned a dual Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Philosophy from the University of New Hampshire, where he was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa and the Golden Key Honor Society. He also completed graduate-level study in philosophy at Miami University in Ohio. Earlier in his career, he worked in child development services, ultimately serving as Program Director for a residential youth program, experience that strengthened his ability to operate within complex systems and long-term responsibility.

Since relocating to Texas in 2011, Dan has remained active in his local community. Outside of work, he enjoys reading and spending time outdoors.
