Greg Clifton, MBA, ChFC®, CFP®
Greg Clifton is president and CEO of Clifton Capital Partners, Inc., a company formed to help successful families, businesses, and institutions invest wisely, minimize tax burden, and make smarter financial decisions. Greg began his career in financial services in the early 1980s while working for a major New York-based firm, choosing to become an independent advisor in 1990. He believes unbiased guidance and advice, supported by a clear, comprehensive financial plan and road map, empowers clients to make the most effective financial decisions.
Greg is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner, holds a designation as a Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®), has earned his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University, and is a multiyear recipient of the FIVE-STAR Wealth Manager Award*.
Greg is active in his community, currently serving as chairman of the board of directors of Texas Family Musicals, Inc., and a former member of the board of directors of the Arts Council of Fort Worth and Tarrant County. Greg is past chairman of the board of directors of Casa Mañana Theatre, past president of the board of directors of the Better Business Bureau at Fort Worth, a past member of the board of directors of Mental Health America of Greater Tarrant County, and a member of the Advisory Board of the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University as well as other civic posts.
Greg is a dedicated father of his two daughters, receiving his greatest joy from time spent with them. In his spare time he enjoys traveling, long-distance cycling, and restoring and racing classic cars from the late 1960s era.
